Boronia Multicultural Services Incorporated is a registered charity and public benevolent institution focused on advocacy and support services for people from a refugee background and migrants of non-English speaking background living in the cities of Cumberland and Parramatta. We have been in operation since 1989, based in Toongabbie.

We provide support to families with young children and work on family relationship issues as well as primary prevention of violence against women and children.

(BMS) seeks to contribute to the advancement and promotion of a culturally and linguistically diverse community through the support of social justice and community development principles. We support disadvantaged communities from refugee or migrant background, with equal access to opportunities whilst enhancing their knowledge, skills and capacities. Our community development approach recognises putting communities first in any change and support that affects their lives. The overriding aim of this service is to facilitate and provide social, recreational, cultural and community support services to families of refugee and migrant backgrounds to make them self-reliant and increase their social and economic participation.

The overriding aim of this service is to facilitate and provide social, recreational, cultural and community support services to families of refugee and migrant backgrounds to make them self-reliant and increase their social and economic participation. As a family support service, we entail to run community education programs on prevetion of violece against women and children with a focus on gender equality and removal of gender role stereotyping.
